GARDEN MINISTRY
The team concept to support the Garden Ministry has increased the number of volunteers available for the planting season. Thanks to everyone who has been involved and to those of you who may yet become involved. The concept of four teams seems to be a good concept, however the definition of a team needs to be changed a little.

Team A will remain the group which will be notified during those times when numbers are critical or the garden production will suffer. This includes planting, weeds out of control, and harvest. The three time, one hour promise will be honored.

The real change will be for Team B. These are busy people who would work in the garden if possible. They agree to be called whenever a work time is scheduled with the understanding that they may have to say no more often than yes. The call will be for notification, not expectation. If you are willing to be a Team B member, please call 332-4898 and leave your name and phone number.

Team C are those garden workers who consider the ministry a high priority. These are the workers who carry much of the load and it is assumed they will say yes unless they have a conflict in their schedules. They may be involved several times a week for longer than an hour during the busy season.

Team D will continue to be those dedicated people who prepare the gardens for planting, order seeds, monitor growing conditions, and direct the harvest.
